01 — Fit

Start with where you are

Three situations bring most people to us. Each needs a different first ninety days — find yours and we'll skip the generic discovery call.

Funded startups

You've raised, and the books have to hold up

Investors want monthly MIS, clean cap-table-adjacent records, and no compliance skeletons at the next round. You need finance that scales without a full-time hire yet.

  • Monthly MIS your board can read
  • Diligence-ready books from month one
  • ESOP, FEMA and RBI filings handled
  • Burn and runway tracking
SMEs & family businesses

You've outgrown one accountant and a spreadsheet

Revenue is real, the team has grown, and compliance has become a monthly scramble. You want one accountable team instead of a patchwork of vendors.

  • Full statutory calendar owned end to end
  • Payroll and labour law compliance
  • Working capital and margin visibility
  • Clean-up of prior-year records
Cross-border & subsidiaries

You're setting up or running an India entity

Incorporation, FEMA and RBI reporting, transfer pricing exposure, and a parent company that needs reporting in its own format and calendar.

  • Entity incorporation and registrations
  • FEMA filings and RBI reporting
  • Reporting aligned to parent-company close
  • Single point of contact in your timezone

03 — Engagement

What happens after you book the call

A real sequence, with real timing. You'll know what you're committing to before you commit to anything.

01

Introductory call

Twenty minutes. We ask what you're running, what's currently breaking, and who handles it today. No pitch deck.

Day 0 · 20 minutes
02

Diagnostic

Under NDA, we review your books and filing history and tell you plainly what's clean, what's overdue, and what carries exposure.

Week 1 · No obligation
03

Scope & transition

A written scope, a named senior lead, and a transition plan from your current provider — including who talks to them and when.

Week 2
04

Monthly rhythm

Close, file, report — on a fixed calendar you can see. Monthly review call, and your ledger status visible any day of the month.

Ongoing
04 — Why boutique

Senior attention. One accountable team.

Most firms make you choose between breadth of service and personal attention. We were built so you don't have to.

The usual arrangement

Large or traditional firms

Junior-heavy delivery with a rotating point of contact
Services siloed across separate vendors you have to coordinate
Compliance-only reporting, with little strategic input
Standard turnaround and limited flexibility
You find out about a problem when the notice arrives
How we work

FirmLeap Solutions LLP

Senior-led relationships with one consistent point of contact
Integrated delivery across all four practice lines, one ledger
Compliance plus MIS and CFO-level decision support
Fast, digitally enabled turnaround built for how startups move
Deadlines flagged in advance, not reported after the fact
05 — Confidentiality

How we hold your information

You're handing over payroll, margins, and bank access. Here's exactly what that involves before you do.

NDA before access

A mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before we look at a single document. Ours or yours — we sign either.

Named, limited team

You know every person with access to your records by name. Access ends the day someone leaves your engagement.

Controlled systems

Records are held in cloud with limited time role-based access and audit logs. No client data on personal devices.

Your data stays yours

You own your books. On exit we hand over complete records in a portable format — no hostage-taking.

06 — Engagement models

Three ways to work with us

Pricing depends on transaction volume, headcount, and entity type — so we quote after the diagnostic, not before. These are the shapes an engagement takes.

Model A

Monthly retainer

The full finance function on a fixed monthly fee — accounting, compliance, payroll, and reporting on a set calendar. The most common arrangement.

Best forCompanies with ongoing operations and a recurring filing calendar.
Model B

Fractional CFO

Senior financial leadership on a defined number of days each month — planning, modelling, board reporting, and fundraise support, layered on top of your existing books.

Best forFunded companies that have bookkeeping covered but need decision support.
Model C

Defined project

A scoped piece of work with a start and an end — incorporation, restructuring, a books clean-up, or diligence preparation ahead of a round.

Best forOne-time needs, or testing the working relationship before a retainer.
07 — Questions

The things people ask before they call

We already have an accountant. Is switching disruptive?
It's the most common question we get, and the honest answer is: the first month takes effort, then it's easier than what you have now. We handle the handover conversation, request the records, and run a parallel month if the timing is tight. Most transitions complete inside one filing cycle.
What accounting software do you work in?
We work in [Zoho Books / Tally / QuickBooks / your stack]. If you already have a system, we work inside it rather than migrating you for our convenience. If you don't, we'll recommend one that fits your volume and your auditor's expectations.
Our books from previous years are a mess. Is that a problem?
No — it's the situation we see most often, and it's better to surface it now than during diligence or an assessment. The diagnostic in week one tells you the scope of the clean-up and what it costs, separately from the ongoing engagement, so you can decide how far back to go.
Who exactly will we be dealing with?
A named senior lead who stays with your account, plus a small delivery team you'll also know by name. You won't be reassigned to a new contact each quarter, and you won't be explaining your business again to someone new.
How quickly do you respond?
Our standard is [24 business hours] for routine queries and same-day for anything with a statutory deadline or a notice attached. That commitment is written into the engagement letter, not just the website.
Do you work with companies outside Bangalore?
Yes. The engagement runs digitally end to end — document exchange, review calls, and filings — so location doesn't change the service. We work with clients across India and with foreign parent companies operating Indian subsidiaries.
08 — Contact

Let's simplify your finance function

Book twenty minutes, or send a note and we'll come back to you. Either way, nothing is shared until an NDA is in place.

Book a 20-minute call

Tell us what you're running

Three fields is enough to start. We'll reply with a time, not a brochure.

Nothing you send here is shared beyond the authorized senior staffs who read this inbox. Don't attach financial records yet — we'll send an NDA first.
One team, every function

Growing businesses deserve senior-level expertise, not junior-level attention.

That belief is the whole reason FirmLeap exists — and it's the one thing we'd ask you to test on the first call.
